Skil 2895LI-02 18-Volt Li-Ion Drill Driver Kit

I aways had the problem of charging my Ni-Cd batteries for my old drill each time I needed to use it. With the Li-Ion drill doesn't happen any more. The batteries are always ready to be used. It is great how this battery keeps the charge for months even if you doesn't use your drill. And the power of the drill is awsome. You won't regret of this purchase.

I bought this drill as my first lithium ion power tool. I had never before purchased a Skill tool either, but decided to give the brand a chance. Product performed flawlessly for a few easy around the house repairs during the first few months. The first time I needed to use it (4 months after purchase) for about 15 minutes of medium duty use it crapped out. When I put the battery on the charger the charger blinked rapidly. Since the battery was not hot or cold, it meant the battery was dead (according to the manual). I tried calling the number for a warranty claim, and I was repeatedly on hold for long periods of time and every time I finally got a live person on the other end, the call had terrible quality, the individual on the other end could not hear me, and hung up on me. (It was definitely not my phone line and happened several times).
