I looked for quite awhile before finding this 7.2 volt Ryobi battery. I love it because it's a light weight and handy drill to have around. When the old battery died I looked an looked and the batteries I found cost more than the drill itself! I finally found this on Amazon and ordered it, thank you Amazon!!! By Mike (Chatham, NJ USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Ryobi 130269013 7.2V 1.5m-Ah Ni-CD Battery (Misc.) Fits/works with Ryobi HP472 even though the original battery number is 130269001. My original battery would not hold charge for more than 2 days (defective, but too lazy to return it). After a few years of living with it, I ordered this through Amazon. This one works great and fits the drill perfectly. Holds charge for 30+ days and has plenty of drilling power. 2 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Ryobi 130269013 7.2V 1.5m-Ah Ni-CD Battery (Misc.) Although the new battery is exactly the same quality and type as my original, after using both batteries concurrently for two large projects, I realized that I needed an even more powerful drill with greater voltage and turning capacity. I will however, continue using both batteries with my Ryobi drill until I've decided to purchase a stronger device. I've found it most convenient to have an extra battery in the charger. I may be a good candidate for an impact drill? What do you think? |
