Ryobi 12V 3/8" Reversible Drill HJP001 BARE TOOL

This is a basic drill ans screw driver. Variable speed, forward and reverse. Very light weight. Keep in your tool box like a wrnech. Lithium Batter last long time and charges quickly. Does not have clutch to prevent screw head damage but again this is basic unit good for carrying about large sites for light commercil use or home use. Meets my needs as a MFG representative in the door and hardware industry.

Beware! This drill is very weak and has trouble performing the simple task of drilling a 1/2 in hole more than 3 time into a 2x4 stud! The drill (on a full charge) will just cut out on over load during the third bore. Furthermore, the drill and battery weight is wonderful but with this weight loss comes a significantly low battery charge time. If the cut out doesn't completely drive you nuts don't look forward to having a long battery life either. I have owned this drill for 3 years performing the simplest tasks like drilling in 1 inch drywall screws and small holes in sheet metal and if I am lucky 2 or three 2 5/8" drywall crews without a overload cutout mishap. Now the drill batteries after less than 10 charges have 1/8th their charge life and now need to be thrown out!!??? Heck i might as well throw the hole thing out because a new battery costs 1/3 the price of the whole package. What a piece of junk!!!!
