The Description says 1.5 amp but the picture is for the higher capacity model of battery. the 1.5 amp model is the lowweight, shorter lifespan battery. Consider yourself forewarned.
Aside from that the battery seems to work well.

Batteries were ok while working soon after purchase. They were not used for 6-8 months afterwards, by which time both were dead - one reads 'defective' and the other lasts less than 30 seconds after full charge. Ridgid agreed to replace & referred to 3 closest registered service outlets, all over 1hr drive away. The first outlet denied service saying they had recently been de-listed by Ridgid (which the Ridgid rep apparently didn't know). The second outlet insisted on TWO in-person visits to their site, first for them to "check" the hardware and then place the order which would take 3-4 WEEKS. Then I have to drive 100 miles again to pick up the replacements when they arrive. They will not ship the replacements directly to my home for some reason. This will amount to $40-50 in gas, plus a month's delay of the projects I want to use the tools on.
