I've has this drill for 6 years now and its still going strong. The batteries don't last terribly long, but long enough to drive about 100 2" screws. Get a rapid charger and a second battery and you'll never run out of power. The torque on this drill is far better than most 18V drills. Don't let the voltage fool you....torque is what matters.

I got this drill for a Christmas present and fell in love with it. I had a 14.4V Black & Decker that I thought was pretty good until I took this drill out of the box. You can feel the quality when you pick it up. The torque is surprising when it first kicks in. It caught me off guard because I was used to the weaker Black & Decker. The battery is drained quickly because of the torque. I also have the Rigid 90 degree impact drill, another awesome Rigid product, which uses the same batteries and charger so I have two chargers and four batteries.
These are almost impossible to find in the stores because everyone is moving to the 16V or higher drills. This drill is a nice size with plenty of power; get it while you still can.

Good workhorse for a 12 volter. Great torque. One battery might not hold a charge as long as the other.Throw the included bit away and get a bit holder.
