The Pwr+ battery appears to work as well as the original, at least while it is new. With a full charge, I can use the drill for high load work (ie, driving deck screws) for about 2.5 hours between charges. It is too early to tell, however, if this battery will hold up as well as the original, but at 1/2 the cost, it is probably worth the gamble. I will post an update after I have had the battery for awhile.

The original battery in my Makita cordless drill was approaching 20 years old and needed replacement. Looked online for one and decided on this one. Got it in and charged it and put it in the drill. Have used it several times and it's doing great, no problems so far. Would bye another if need be.
