The Battery that I received is a 3.3Ah instead of the 3.5Ah that I ordered and that was on my packing slip. Whats up with that?

Yes, the battery is actually rated at 3.3 Amp-hours (and not the 3.5 A-H indicated in the product listing). I'm guessing that Panasonic either (i) rerated this battery to its correct listing (having overrated this battery initially), or (ii) modified the battery to the lower A-H rating for some valid reason (such as safety). To be honest, I don't see any difference in the life of the 3.3 A-H battery from the "original" 3.5 A-H unit. What's more, this is still the most powerful replacement battery you can get for the Panasonic 18V tools (the non-Panasonic replacement batteries being rated at 3.0 A-H or less - even as low as 2.0 A-H!). Okay, having addressed the "Amp-Hour" issue, let's get to other matters. I gave this battery 4 stars because it only appears to have a life of about 5 years, and is rather expensive. While I recharge all of my power tool batteries every 4 months (whether they get used or not), I was surprised to find that the life of the battery deteriorated...Read more
