Panasonic 15.6-Volt NiMH 1/2-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver (Bare Tool)

My company has five of these drills, which we love for their small size, efficiency and power. When they wear out after a few years of hard work, we replace them with just the head, no battery, no charger. Really keeps our cost down. And the price is almost the same as sending older drills to the repair shop. Anyone know where I can recycle the old drills?

This was the best choice for a burntout old drill motor from a 6YO cordless drill. The batteries were still good from the old drill(3.5 NiMh)and I use this drill every working day all day.It is the best and most durable drill you will ever buy.

I bought the original drill and battery kit before doing a project at the house. It operated as expected, though from the beginning I noticed an electric smell when running the drill. I figured it was just some break in process. The batteries were great as far as holding charge and the power time of delivery. I felt I had the perfect tool! As advertized. But nothing here is perfect. I went to use the drill a couple of months ago and it burned up doing a very light job. I guess it was the brush. Not sure. I checked to see if it was in warranty, but it wasn't. So I was forced to look at either trying to get a new drill to try out or to replace the one I had.
