These batteries are the best available today. As for the knucklehead claiming the battery was discharged, this is how they are supposed to be when they come. They have a memory chip in them that starts the 5 year warranty on their first charge. I have no ideal who the other reviewer is but they have an agenda other then telling the truth imho.

I have had my v28 set now for a while and have used my tools for a variety of tasks. I am in the plumbing trade so most applications have been in relation to that. I own almost all of the v28 line of tools so these batteries have run my v28 radio, hammer drill, band saw, sawzall, angle drill, rotary hammer, circular saw, and impact wrench. I have never had a problem with the batteries at all in any of the tools I have used. They have gone from tool to tool with no problems whatsoever and in fact outperformed any cordless tool I have ever used. I can't speak for everyone but these battery driven tools have never disappointed me.

Currently using 16 of these batteries and continue to be amazed at their performance, tool power, and duration of use for single charges. V28 power is just that --power and that's why I buy tools. Now 3-4 years later and all the tools are still great, but all the batteries are dead and milwaukee says sorry......maybe the m28 series will come through......?
