I actually bought this battery for my m12 radio. The battery that it came with only lasted a few hours and it didn't really fill the need. I bought this battery and now the radio will play approx a day and a half (with overtime) and I keep the original as a back up.

A must if you have the 2 speed m12 drill, i thought there was something wrong with my drill but when i put one of these puppies in the drill, wow quite a difference in power, speed, and length of charge. My m12 hex driver is fine with regular battery but the drill has a big advantage using this battery, would highly recommend buying on amazon to save a lot of $$$$$$ delivery was about a week w/super saver free shipping.

This battery is a necessity for the person in need of prolonged use of their M12 tool. The standard battery works well in the drilling & driving tools but leaves us short on life when used in the higher output cutting tools the M12 line offers. I own 2 of these and use them predominantly in the M12 Multi-Tool (or O-tool as I call it)and Hackzall, it blows away the standard battery, not only with longer runtime but also overall tool performance as it enables certain tools to run at full potential. I've used Bosch, DeWalt & Makita 10.8v (which they call "12-volt Max")and those brands offer no alternative higher capacity battery making Milwaukee M12 the only line to offer an alternative, high performance battery. Aside from the stated benefits of extended run time and increased performance the battery offers another perk, the wide base allows us to easily stand the tool upright instead of laying it down when not in use and has a tough rubber shoe to protect the battery and surface we...Read more
