This is a Good Drill. I have owned and used it for a year now and I like it very much. I am a builder so I drive lots of screws and lags and drill lots of holes. I bought this drill to be the "Big Drill" in my cordless line-up. I also own a Festool 15.6 TDK and the Metabo Impact Wrench. I also use Makita tools extensively and Ridgid too. I chose the BS 18 because it had the best power I could find in a cordless drill. It is a little lighter and smaller than the SB Hammer Drill and why carry around more weight than you have too? I have never found cordless hammer drills to be very effective at drilling in concrete. I use a rotary hammer for this.
The BS18 lives up to its specifications as far as I can tell. It can twist your arm off if you are not careful and the battery life is good.
