I've been a professional construction equipment mechanic for the last ten years. These bits are the ones you want to buy. Whether in a high speed cordless drill or in a slow speed drill press these bits get the job done. I purchased mine over five years ago and I have only broken three of the smaller bits. The pilot tip is great on these, but you have to be careful never to reverse the bit while the tip is cutting or the pilot will snap off.

Irwin turbo max drill bits are the best drill bits i ever used. They are great for drilling out broken bolts. I own other drill bits like snap on thunder bits and matco but the erwin bits work the best. I first used a coworkers set and then bought myself a set and i use them at least once a week.

The quality and price of these bits is excellent- especially since I am buying "holes" not drill bits. The only negative was that 4 of the smallest drill bits had somehow exited their holding place druing transit and were loose in the case- with two being completely hidden behind the hinge- they were freed using a toothpick & knife.
