This kit is awesome. I'm an HVAC tech and have tried the Makita kit and a Craftsman kit. Problem w/ these were all the bits fell out during transport. All organization went out the window with these kits, and so did they after I purchased this Irwin set. These bits stay in place and are superior to the the others in terms of quality. I use the nutdriver bits all the time and cannot believe how strong the magnets are in these S.O.B.'s. BOTTOM LINE: Splurge and get yourself this set b/c the case, the bits, and the quality is simply superior to anything else for this price.

I got this kit because I had just purchased a cordless impact driver with a 1/4" hex chuck. I needed a 6" long Torx T27 to take apart Stihl equipment, and this was the first kit I found that included one.

There are no tools in this kit that I don't use. The hex chuck extensions come in handy, there's a little spot where you can fit a bunch of extra bits and inserts and the box is sturdy. Unlike some other tool kits i've used, the bits in this one do not fall out, no matter how you open the case. In fact, i've got to pop out the 6" bits with a 2" most days.

I've been using the T27 professionally for two months now and it's going strong. The tips of the drivers all turn silver from the original matte finish, but don't degrade further. All the tools are bare steel and come coated in a light oil. If you handle them and wipe off the oil, they will get a few rust spots.

This is an excellent set of driver bits for an electric drill or driver. The standard sizes of Phillips, Posidrive, and Torx are there, in both shorter and longer length versions. There are a few nutsetters too. The bits are all clearly engraved with their size. The only things I notice missing are that it doesn't come with any flat-bladed screwdriver bits, and no square bits. These bits seem to be good quality - I have been using the Phillips heads with a Makita impact driver, and they don't show any wear.
The best thing about the set in my opinion is the hard plastic case. The bits fit very securely (it is actually a little hard to pry them loose at first, though the case does loosen up slightly with use), and there is a place marked for everything, with a little bit of extra room in the middle where you can put a couple of your other favorite bits or sockets if you like.
