I'm an amateur woodworker with a passion for power tools. After much research, reading and deliberation, I chose this Hitachi over several other brands. This just seemed like too good of a deal to pass up and I was right.Popular WoodWorking magazine raved about these inexpensive Hitachi drills and now I know why. I've had the tool for 3 weeks and used it for several projects and I'm not dissapointed. It has much more power than you might expect, given it's small footprint and light weight. It fits into my hand like a good tool should and it's fun to use. This drill replaced an older 9.6 DeWalt which I didn't really care for. All in all, considering the price, power, quality manufacturing and the great flashlight, this purchase was a great value.
