I purchased my Hitachi 9.6 in about 1993, and to this day it has never let me down. I have used it almost daily, and the only problem I have experienced was today. I just moved 1500 miles, and can't find my charger.I've looked at other higher voltage drills,but have stayed with the lighter weight 9.6 volt.If I could find the charger,I'd never let it go.***UPDATE*** June 06 I found the charger, and the Hitachi is humming again. Glad I didn't buy another one.
