The Skil 2510-02 Factory Reconditioned 14.4-Volt Lithium Ion Drill/Driver with One Battery is extremely lightweight and compact, making it the perfect choice for overhead applications or jobs that require repetitive drilling or driving. This drill is actually the second one of these I have purchased. I bought the first one to use for light duty repairs in building maintenance at work. It's balance, long battery life and light weight were all so good, I bought I second one for use at home. It can't do what a high-torque 1/2 inch battery drill might do, but it definitely can do over 90% of what I need both at home and work. It is especially well designed for fast removal and replacement of screws in just about anything. My only concern so far has been that Skil has been slow to make the Lithium-Ion batteries available for separate purchase. I wanted to have a spare for longer tasks, and the batteries are not widely available. The battery charges relatively quickly and can be charged either on the drill or separated from it. Great drill/driver and good price.

We have two of these drills where I work, and they have been trouble free and strong for 2 years now. Batteries last a long time. The one I bought here for myself had a bad charger with it, so I had to return it. No problems with refund.

This is a great cordless drill. I have owned it now for 18 months and it still works great. I use it for general household repairs, including light drilling in walls and other wood. I also loan it to friends regularly. So, it get a little more than normal use. Its a great drill and driver.

As an additional important note: if you do not have a place to leave your cordless drill plugged in all the time, then buy one with a lithium ion battery (even if it is not this one). It holds a charge for weeks. That way, when you need it, it is still charged - that was rarely the case for my NiCad powered cordless drill I had before this one.
