This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned Ryobi ZRP211 One+ Torque IV Two-Speed Hammer Drill (Tools & Home Improvement) I have purchased reconditioned Ryobi products before, so I was confident with this purchase. I recently used it to drill into a concrete sidewalk to install metal braces for a mailbox. It actually worked smoother than a corded DeWalt that I had used in the past. Good battery life (battery & charger purchased separately). The handle and depth rod are easily removed for regular drilling, but I leave the handle on for extra support. I highly recommend this drill, especially if you already have 18V Ryobi product(s) with the charger & battery. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned Ryobi ZRP211 One+ Torque IV Two-Speed Hammer Drill (Tools & Home Improvement) use mine everyday, primarily as a screw& nut driver but also as case calls for it a drill and or hammer drill. It has been an excellent tool.

This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned Ryobi ZRP211 One+ Torque IV Two-Speed Hammer Drill (Tools & Home Improvement) Description states, "brings the tool back to like new condition. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes."
Blemishes is a gross understatement. The tool looks rough, most of the mode selector indicators(drill, drive, hammer) are worn off of both sides. Its got marks and gouges on the case, chuck, and torque adjustment ring. With all the wear and tear visible on the outside what hasn't been replaced underneath the case? The price difference between the "reconditioned" and new model is relatively small, just get the new one. Cost of a replacement case so I can tell what mode I'm using would make this cost more than what a brand new model would cost. You might not get one thats beat up and rough looking, but you don't get to pick unless you purchase a new model. |
