The Ridgid 2-piece 12-volt cordless lithium-ion combo kit includes the ZRR82008 Fuego drill/driver and the ZRR829320 LED light. The integrated chuck and clutch on the drill/driver reduces overall length, making it the most compact in its class. The 2-speed transmission ensures you have the right power to complete the job. The 3/8-inch single sleeve chuck takes 1/4-inch hex and conventional round bits, and the ergonomic overmold handle is designed to improve comfort and grip. LED Light features a twist on and off mechanism and lasts up to 10,000 work hours. The light also features a powerful LED for maximum brightness and a continuous run time of 11 hours per charge. This item may ship in the original manufacturer's packaging.

First of all, I'm delighted by the drill. Small, powerful, light runs all day on one battery. I do theatrical construction. This machine will run all day on one battery for assembly of 2x4 framing. And the pair of batteries will work for all of the intensive drilling activity of a strike. I've never been able to out outlast the batteries.

One tiny quibble -

I'm used to buying refurbished electronics; laptops, iPods, DVD players, remotes, etc.

Most reconditioners make every effort to make the refurbished products as much like new as possible. On the other hand, this recondtioner has had every effort put into making sure that you know that this drill is reconditioned.

The caveat of "some cosmetic blemishes" is certainly true. Not only are there marks of the original purchaser's work, but the reconditioner has also heat-stamped "RECON" into the handgrips of the drill.

I bought this drill new a year ago at Home Depot (not Amazon). I love the drill...it's easy to handle and it has a ring clutch that allows me to set almost any degree of torque with a simple twist. I give the drill five stars!

But, after only moderate use, the two batteries that came with it are now showing "Faulty" on the battery charger (both red and green blinking) instead of showing the steady green full charge light. The battery numbers are: R86048 CS0910. I give the batteries one star!!!

Great tool, i bought another from RIDGID THEMSELVES, VERY GOOD, but DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR!! No Quality Control or through testing, got a tool that didnt work!! Beware of this Seller!! WORSE IS THEY SAID, NOT THEIR PROBLEM, GO FIGURE IT OUT WITH THE MANUFACTURER!!!
