Factory-Reconditioned Bosch 37618-01-RT 18-Volt 1/2-Inch Brute Tough Litheon Drill/Driver with 2-Fat Batteries

I expected this drill to be as good or better than our previous 18V Bosch Brute Tough Drill, this one being the Litheon powered drill. The power doesn't seem as strong, and the battery life is shorter instead of longer, especially when compared to the Blue Core Battery we had for our last drill. Would have bought the same thing I had before now looking back, and that would have saved us money as well.

I wanted a drill that would have enough power to drill through wood joists in my attic and that would not run out of juice too often. I have used the drill for several weeks and find it to be everything I had hoped it would. I like the size; it is bigger than the run of the mill drill I see at HQ and Lowes. The light built into the base is a nice touch; it helpsout in low light conditions. I felt comfortable with Bosch as I have had a corded drill of theirs for about fifteen years. I have also used and appreciated their hammer drills.

I have had a 18v makita cordless kit for some time now and I have never had a problem with it until the actual drill caught on fire. (I abuse my tools... I'm a plumber) I decided to upgrade to the bosch so i bought this drill just to try it out. It would be easier to use this drill as a hammer on a 2 9/16 hole saw and smash it through whatever I want to drill then to actually drill it. This thing has no balls so it prob perfect for a hairdresser or electrician.
