Well-built and did not burn-out the cigarette lighter fuse. It will take an hour to charge a XRP battery. Tested it during a Com-Ed black-out without issue. Keep in mind that the instructions suggest charging a maximum of (3) batteries without running the engine (that's 3 hours).

Not much to say this came with a kit and it works great! I keep this charger in my tool bag to use if I run a battery down away from home. I have a dual charger in my garage that also works great!

DeWalt continues the tradition of making products for the professional contractor and homeowner alike. Professional because of its dependability, durability and function. Practical for homeowners because of the same features making it the tool choice for the professional but with a price most people can afford.

The DeWalt DC9319 vehicle charger advertises the ability to charge any of their 7.2 - 18 volt batteries in one hour and I've found that to be more than true since most of the batteries I've charged were completely charged before one hour. And don't worry, the batteries were completely charged as well and lasted as long as ones charged with a 120v charger.

At this price point I would recommend this charger to any contractor who does a lot of field work because you all know that sooner or later you are going to need it.
