Delta CL096 9.6 Volt Drill Driver

One of Delta’s new ShopMaster line, this drill/driver’s packing power with everyday affordability. The keyless chuck makes but changes quick and easy, and a 20-position adjustable clutch lets you match torque with the job at hand, each specific application, and avoid screw stripping. An ergonomically designed rubber grip absorbs shock and feels great in hand, and screwdriver bit clips on each side of the tool are a nice touch, too. There’s a built-in bubble level for extra accuracy, though we found it a little hard to read. The extended run-time battery charges up again in just an hour. The ShopMaster line is really intended for the do-it-yourselfer and hobby woodworker, and this model is perfect for both. Those with smaller hands will like this drill because the grip isn’t too big and, most of all, the batteries are easy-on, easy-off.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste
