I was really pleased to be able to get a second battery for my Craftsman multitool. It fits perfectly. One note - this is the first Lithium Ion powered tool I have. I didn't know that the batteries don't run down slowly but stop very suddenly when the charge drops. My son knew this and I was relieved to learn it - for a minute I thought I broke my tool. This only takes half an hour to charge, so with 2 batteries I can pretty much work without interruption. The other pleasant thing is that I live in remote Alaska where Sears WON'T mail me stuff and it costs a fortune to pay other services -so I no longer shop with Sears. Buying thru Amazon, my shipping charge was reasonable. I hope Amazon continues to offer Craftsman stuff.

I bought two kits from Costco, each containing two batteries, and three of the four were defective right out of the box, would not even take a charge. Craftsman doesn't provide any easy way to get replacements either. No small wonder Sears is imploding with products like this.
