I used the extention to follow through a 3/8" hole I drilled with a 18v Milwaukee drill through 4 pieces of 2x4 nailed side by side. One hole, the extension is stripped at the holder end.
Poor quality.
To be fair, without the extension, the bits still do what they are suppose to. A case or pouch for storage would've been nice.

My experience with these bits demonstrates that they are dangerous to use on hardwoods. I was using the 3/4" bit in a 3/8" Snap-on electric drill to bore a hole through one inch thick hardwood. These bits have a coarse threaded cone that bites into the wood very aggressively and if the wood fibers are strong, they resist tearing. When I started the drill motor the cone drilled into the wood very quickly, but when the 3/4" spade part of the bit contacted the wood, the bit stopped abruptly. Of course I still had the trigger depressed which caused the drill motor to twist violently in my hand. Wow was I shocked; for a moment I thought my wrist was sprained or broken.
I tried the same bit in plywood and also in a piece of soft wood and it worked fine, but I will never use them to bore hardwood again.

These are a very nice set of bits for the price. It would have been nice to include some sort of case or organizer though.
