Summary: Lasted a few months. This is 2009 - 410 which is the bad one. 2010-06-24
Comment: I just learned that there is another battery better than this. My old one! The ones I had lasted 4 years..number 2007-415 ...these new 2009-410 lasted 3 months. What is going on? I had to go back to my old ones.

Comment: This was the battery I needed for my weed-eater. I couldn't find it at the store where I bought the weed-eater, so was happy to find it on Amazon. What can I say? It's a battery. It works fine.

Comment: Works great on my 18v cordless trimmer. This thing really moves, compared to my older batteries. A lot cheaper than the home stores, too.

Comment: I have only used these two batteries once. I charged them for a day and used them in a cordless weedeater. One battery lasted less than 5 minutes, the other less than 10.
I have several Black & Decker 18v tools, and they are useless without adequate batteries.
B&D advertises a longer-use battery but it appears to be unavailable.
I feel cheated by B&D.
