Here’s a combo no homeowner should be without. The gel-handled drill doesn’t feel like any other we’ve handled, surpassing our expectations for comfort and ease. Most drills these days have keyless chucks, and this is no exception. We’re impressed with the 24-position clutch and the torque you get for any drilling job. What’s great about this package is the self-leveling BULLSEYE laser level/stud finder. It’s light, compact, easy to use and accurate with a range of 20 feet (10 feet in both directions). For larger jobs like decking and fencing, the target cones will produce a 100-foot line you can rely on. We can imagine hanging shelves without a hassle, laying out tile, putting up a chair rail or wallpaper border and being 100-percent level. The level’s got a neat little gripper on the back, so all you have to do is press it into the wall; the resulting mark is so tiny, it won’t be noticed.
