Comment: This screwdriver was used to put together a bookshelf, a computer desk and to hang curtain rods. It's lightweight and very functional. Perfect for small jobs around the house. Lady-Do-it-Yourselfer's...don't pass on this one.

Comment: I bought this July 15, 2005. As I recall it has a two year warranty.

I was very pleased with the torque and how long the battery held a charge, but, guess what, almost suddenly, the battery will no longer hold a charge. I have to leave it in the charger at all times now, and put it in when I need it... I contacted customer service about a new battery, but they are not available...

Though about a buck a month is not a bad price to "rent" a screwdriver, it seems it really should last longer than the warranty... The battery is always the weak link...

Today I bought A Black & Decker driver locally with more features and the VersaPack battery, for 20 bucks, including an assortment of driver bits. It is a 3.6 and not a 4.8 volt, but I have a larger drill/driver for the "big" jobs... AND batteries are easily replaced...

Barbara K... You should address this flaw in your otherwise excellent product...

Comment: This product is perfect for women. It is light weight and effective. I used for picture framing and will use it for several other jobs in my home.

Comment: This is a great power screwdriver! I like that it's lighter-weight, but it still works well. I have tried other brands in the past that are supposed to be better for women, but they don't work as well as this one - it really has power, unlike the others. As a home-owner, I know that this tool is a must have for getting the job done!
