This battery works great. Two things you should know though: It's not original equipment, and this battery is taller than the original by a quarter inch or so.

Original batteries for my DeWalt drill died after 8 years.

These batteries offer like 2 to 3 times the capacity of the OEM battery.

Got 'em. Plugged one in (already charged), and after 6 months have still not had to recharge.
