i purchased 2 makita batteries from motorgroup the picture they put up on there website makes it look like you are getting the original battery but a red one came in the mail to me.its a knock off not the real thing.not happy at all

Do NOT buy these batteries! (would give zero stars if I could)
I bought them as a Christmas gift for my father, and now 7 months later they are expensive paperweights. The batteries stop properly charging, I contacted the company, and they promptly told me that there was only a 6 month warranty. I do not recall reading that there is only a six month warranty (it is in the description now).
As the other reviewer states, the picture is false and misleading. I thought I was purchasing Makita batteries, and the batteries that arrives were bright red. The description now clearly states that they are manufacturer compatible. To be honest, I cannot recall what it said when I purchased them; however, I am one who always reads descriptions and reviews...
Please do not make the same mistake with these batteries!
